A Common man’s definition of Podcasting is Internet Radio.How do I know this ? I overheard two individuals discussing Podcasting, one of them asked other one, what is podcasting ? other said podcasting is Internet Radio.On that day i realized how many people really know what a podcast is and it is only a handful.

What’s a podcast? There’s been some confusion about podcasting, and rightly so. The term “podcast” is where the confusion starts. Some people think it’s a live feed broadcast, but it’s not. It’s simply a subscription based service that can download media to you automatically from content providers. So what’s all the hype? Well, there’s money to be made, so expect some hype. Sure you can get some great podcasts, and SOME are free, just remember it’s not your only choice. If you want full control over your media and like to download and/or record your own content, then podcasts are not that great. So to some it up, the term “podcast” is a marketing term for what could be called more appropriately, a “payload”…
